The Reign of Christ the Lamb

The image above depicts Christ the Victorious Lamb who was slain. His blood is being poured out for the remission of every man's sins. The Eucharist - Christ himself; Body, Blood, Soul, Divinity - was bequeathed by Jesus Himself through the priesthood of the Catholic Church. The scriptures abound with the Supremacy and Lordship of Christ over all the Nations. Psalm 2 speaks of how the kings and rulers of the earth in vain conspire to oppose God enthroned in Heaven, with a warning to them to: "serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling." (v11) The Book of Revelation indicates: "They will wage war against the lamb, but the lamb will conquer them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings. Those who are called, chosen and faithful are with him." (Revelation 17:14) In the face of increasingly open assualt on the Catholic Church in Ireland today, join us in this 2012 Rosary Campaign as we confidently and humbly pray for Christ's Victory on earth. Let's pray for the Reign of Christ the Lamb in Ireland - and the World. As the appartion in Knock in 1879 reminds us, Christ the Lamb reigns supreme. We are privileged in this exciting year that Ireland has been chosen to host the 50th Eucharistic Congress. We can be sure this will be a time of great grace, so let us pray for the protection and success of the Congress and all involved.
